15 Minutes of Shame
Get attention by any means necessary...
In a not-so-ordinary living room somewhere in Australia you will meet five young people willing to go a long way to find fame and fortune in the hope that it might bring some meaning into their desperately unsatisfying lives. They will fight for your approval, and they will fight poorly, stupidly and with remarkable cowardice.
15 Minutes of Shame is a black comedy about exhibitionism and how poisonous the need for instant recognition can be. In a time where anyone can receive the attention of millions within minutes; in a time where entertainment and sheer voyeurism is confused, the question “how will you become famous?” now finds itself substituted with “when will you become famous?” And the natural extension of that question is “how far will you go?”
It's a comedy with bite and a furious hatred for all things pretentious. Come see a show that will make you cringe, laugh and shake your head in equal parts disbelief and recognition.
Cast in alphabetical order; not to be confused with order of importance, but to some extent maybe just a bit:
